US, IN FLUX
Us, in Flux, is an exhibition curated by artists Seth Papac and Ruth Koelewyn and sponsored by the Society of North American Goldsmiths. Papac and Koelewyn assembled an international exhibition that expands the boundaries of contemporary jewelry, challenging artists to approach their work from a fresh perspective.
Us, in Flux, explores jewelry as a medium for self-presentation, blurring the line between adornment and installation art. The works in this exhibition possess their own sense of character and a bodily scale that encourages the audience to perceive them as independent entities while still retaining their desirability and connection to personal expression.
This is a snapshot, the scene of the accident where two parts of my life have collided.
